Over 60 Mainland Chinese or Macao makers of cars, motorcycles or vehicle parts have shown their wares at a three-day exhibition that ended on Sunday in Lisbon, Xinhua reports.

The Chinese government-run news agency quotes Chinese Ambassador to Portugal Cai Run as saying at the opening that the show was a chance for Chinese companies to bring their products to the attention of the world and to do deals with Portuguese companies, so increasing Sino-Portuguese economic engagement.

The report quotes Portuguese Minister of Infrastructure and Housing Pedro Nuno Santos as inviting Chinese enterprises to help improve the transport infrastructure in Portugal.

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce, China National Machinery Industry International Co. Ltd, the Portuguese Automobile Association and the Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry got together to put on the exhibition, Xinhua says.
