A party of 14 students attending the Confucius Institute at the University of Cape Verde will begin this month a visit to China as part of an exchange programme, the university has announced.

The Cape Verdean news agency says the students will study at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies from August 28 to September 10.

The students will take language classes, join in cultural activities and tour the region.

The exchange programme is an aspect of the partnership between the University of Cape Verde and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
