Guinea-Bissau needs China’s technological, economic and financial support to facilitate economic development, according to the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Services of Guinea-Bissau.

“China is a country with huge commercial and technological experiences,” chamber president Braima Camará said. “[Guinea-Bissau] is a promising country that needs China’s support for the transformation of its natural resources.”

Xinhua reported Mr Camará’s comments after he met Ambassador to Guinea-Bissau Jin Hongjun earlier this week.

Meanwhile, the chamber is arranging a trade mission to China.
