Some 17 Cape Verdean journalists and media professionals are currently in Mainland China on a 19-day training programme, A Nação reports.

The Cape Verde newspaper says the course, organised by the Ministry of Commerce, started on Friday and ends on June 27.

The course includes talks, visits and sharing sessions that will show the group the development of China’s economy, politics and the outcomes of reforms undertaken by the Government.

The newspaper says the programme is proof of the friendship between China and Cape Verde.
