Cape Verde will host a meeting to boost economic and trade cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries between June 16 and 20, A Semana reports.

The newspaper says the meeting will have the theme “promotion of opportunities for economic cooperation”.

Cape Verde TradeInvest is the lead organiser of the event to be held in the capital city, Praia. The country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Communities and Defence and local chambers of business are also involved.
