China and São Tomé and Príncipe have selected what they consider the most important fields to co-operate in, and decided to focus on agriculture, health and energy, the Jornal de Angola reports.
The Angolan newspaper quotes Chinese Ministry of Commerce official Zhou Zhaoming who led the meeting in São Tomé last week.
“We have already begun to define the major areas for a framework co-operation programme with São Tomé and Príncipe, [which] will be launched soon,” the official was quoted as saying.
China and São Tomé and Príncipe restored diplomatic relations last month after a break of 19 years.
