A new platform for attracting investment in Cape Verde, called ‘Single Window for Investment’ (Janela Única de Investimentos, in Portuguese), will be presented to heads of public and private institutions of the country on November 14. The ceremony will be presided over by Prime Minister José Maria Neves, according to Inforpress, the Cape Verdean news agency.
Besides the inauguration of the new office, located in the headquarters of Cape Verde Investments, officials will launch an online service that will support the new investment programme. The digital platform will operate as a single system for investments in the country.
The project aims to “facilitate the promotion and attraction of investment in Cape Verde,” the Prime Minister said at a meeting with representatives of the project, according to Inforpress.
“With this project, the government hopes to reduce bureaucracy and simplify the investment process, helping to improve the business environment, and promoting investment and competitiveness in the country,” said Mr Neves.
