Trade between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries reaches US$11.39 bln in January 2014

Trade between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries hit US$11.39 billion in January, up by 23.1 percent from a year earlier but down 7.04 percent from the previous month, according to data from the Chinese General Administration of Customs.


Chinese imports from Portuguese-speaking Countries were up by 18.04 percent year-on-year in January, reaching US$6.85 billion. But they were down by 12.87 percent from December 2013, the official data show.


China sold goods and services to Portuguese-speaking Countries worth US$4.54 billion during January, up by 31.62 percent from a year earlier and by 3.36 percent from the previous month.
