The founder of Semp TCL, a famous home appliance joint venture in Brazil, Affonso Brandão Hennel traveled to Shenzhen to visit the headquarters of TCL Technology and expand cooperation.

TCL Technology and Semp, a Brazilian home appliance company, formed Semp TCL in 2016, which has two manufacturing bases in Brazil, one for television and one for air conditioning. Last year, Semp TCL produced more than 2 million television sets and nearly 300,000 air conditioning units, with a market share of 19% and 7%, respectively.

Next, the company intends to make its TV brand the second largest in Brazil. In addition to the production of household appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines, the duo is considering expanding its photovoltaic business.
