On the 13th of March, CGN Brasil held a ceremony to receive the equipment at the Tanque Novo Wind Complex. The company also confirmed the opening date of the Tanque Novo wind farm for next April. The event was attended by Elbia Gannoum, CEO of ABEEÓLICA, Carlos Tsubake, Commercial Director of Enseada and Fang Likui, President of CGN Brasil.

A total of 40 Goldwind wind turbines were received and stored in the porto for later transport to the Tanque Novo Wind Complex at CGN Brasil, which is around 1,000 km away.

Despite all the complexity and challenges that had to be overcome, the operation was completed in record time, as a result of the hard work and dedication of the team involved.

The Tanque Novo Wind Complex is located in Bahia, in the northeast of Brazil. The complex have a total of 40 wind turbines, with a total installed capacity of 180 MW.
