A delegation from Famalicão of around 30 people linked to the textile industry is currently in China, where for two weeks they will have the opportunity to share experiences, bring companies closer together and encourage exchange between companies and institutions of the scientific and technological system.

This initiative came from an invitation from the Chinese embassy in Portugal and the Textile University of Wuhan, in cooperation with the Luso-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIL-C).

The entourage is made up of reference entities in this sector, such as the Textile and Clothing Technological Center (Citeve), the University of Minho, the Textile and Clothing Association of Portugal (ATP) and also companies such as ROQ, SweaTrofa, Cityberia and Fradelsport.

The business mission program includes meetings and visits to universities and also to companies, namely in Wuhan, Beijing, Hangzhou and Zhaoxing.
