The first magazine in Portuguese completely dedicated to Chinese culture, Via do Meio, launched by the daily newspaper Hoje Macau, will be available in September in Portugal.
The project was born in October last year, initially just as a new section of the newspaper, where articles and translations by sinologists from different parts of the world are published daily, addressing topics ranging from thought to history through literature, science and society itself.
On a quarterly basis, Via do Meio will be distributed at universities that offer Chinese courses or universities with humanistic studies, in addition to being on sale in bookshops. The initiative has the logistical support of the Macao Scientific and Cultural Centre.
