At the end of August, the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) approved the first drone project for use in agricultural spraying in Brazil. Manufactured by the Chinese company XAG, the approved model is the XAG P30, which has a maximum takeoff weight of 41kg, a load capacity of 16kg, and a range of up to 800m. The equipment will be sold by Megradrone, the company's representative in the country.
Brazil and China have maintained cooperation activities since 2011, through a Memorandum of Understanding and a Technical Implementation Procedure. the Chinese authority, Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), being an important cooperation partner with ANAC.
The project approval issued to XAG reinforces the cooperative relationship between the two authorities.
