The governor of Alagoas, Paulo Dantas, visited on the 19th of July, the headquarters in Brazil of the Chinese company Huawei. He took the opportunity to invite the Vice President of Public Relations of Huawei Brazil, Atílio Rulli, and the team for a mission in Alagoas. The intention is to take the first step towards building partnerships between the State and the company.
“The Government of Alagoas wants, above all, to expand connectivity in the interior and in peripheral areas as a way of expanding access to the internet for people from Alagoas. We are in the middle of building a Digital Transformation Plan and we want partnerships that result in better public services, mainly in the areas of health, education and public safety. We have followed successful projects in other states and we want to discuss them in Alagoas as well”, said Paulo Dantas.
Huawei already has partnerships with 80% of Brazilian ministries and 16 states. It is a company present in 170 countries.
