GRT Partners, the leader of the consortium that won the tender opened by Fiocruz and the Ministry of Health in February 2021 for the construction of the Health Biotechnology Industrial Complex (CIBS), has signed a letter of intent with PowerChina International, which will enable the company to put together the structure of guarantees aimed at obtaining Long-Term Project Finance.

As the project is huge, GRT Partners and Power China International have lined up a six-month timetable in preparation for the start of construction.

The plant has an investment of approximately R$5 billion, spread over 4 years. This is the largest vaccine processing and packaging plant in Latin America, capable of processing and packaging 180 million doses a year of various vaccines.
