The Government of Guinea-Bissau launched an official online portal last week to communicate more effectively with the public, Guinea Bissau News Agency reported.
The website, www.gov.gw, is available in three languages — Portuguese, French and English.
Domingos Simões Pereira, the country’s Prime Minister, was quoted saying the online platform would work as “a new bridge” between the government and the public. The portal would also promote government accountability to the population, he added.
The website aims to provide information on relevant policy initiatives, events and government meetings.
