CTT announced the strengthening of its partnership with Temu and has begun delivering products purchased from the Chinese platform in the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira.

"This expansion ensures that consumers across the country can now receive products from Temu's vast selection through the entire CTT network, including over 1,000 Locky order lockers," the company stated in a press release published by ECO.

The partnership with Temu began in November 2023, when CTT became the "exclusive delivery partner for Temu in the Portuguese market." At the time, the autonomous regions were not mentioned.

Temu entered Portugal in May 2023, CTT recalled, and invited local sellers from various markets to join the platform. Portugal is not yet included, but CTT stated that "with more local sellers, Temu will offer an even wider and more diverse selection of products to meet consumer preferences and needs, while supporting local businesses."
