From June 18 to 20, during the 15th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum, Ji Xianzheng, Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, met with the economic and trade delegations from Shandong and Jiangsu provinces, led by Zhang Qingwei, Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, and Zhang Lefu, Vice Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, respectively. They exchanged views on issues such as forging closer ties, utilizing the multilateral mechanism of Forum Macao, leveraging Macao’s role as a platform, and promoting pragmatic cooperation among provinces and cities in mainland China, Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries (PSCs).

In addition, a research team on the alignment of construction quality testing and assessment technology systems in China and PSCs, a project approved by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China, visited the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao. Xie Ying, Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, introduced the work of Forum Macao, and the two sides shared views on the exchange and alignment of China’s construction quality testing technologies with those of PSCs.
