To promote cooperation in the tourism sector among mainland China, Macao, and Portuguese-speaking countries and to support the development of Macao as “One Center, One Platform”, the Permanent Secretariat continued to operate the “Portuguese-Speaking Countries Pavilion” during the Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo this year.

On April 26, the opening ceremony of the 12th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo was held. Secretary-General Mr Ji Xianzheng led members of the Secretariat to attend the ceremony and accompanied Chief Executive Mr Ho Iat Seng and other guests to visit the “Portuguese-Speaking Countries Pavilion”.
