Delegation from Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao visits Chinese calligraphy and painting exhibition

A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao – went, on the afternoon of August 27, to the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Macao SAR. The visit was to view a calligraphy and painting exhibition from famous artists of the Zhejiang School.


The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Mr Chang Hexi, led the delegation.


The visit to the exhibition gave Representatives of Portuguese-speaking Countries in Forum Macao an opportunity to better understand and enjoy Chinese art. It also helped promote cultural exchanges between China’s Zhejiang Province, Portuguese-speaking Countries and Macao.


Forum Macao participants included: Deputy Secretary-General (Appointed by Portuguese-speaking Countries), Mr Vicente de Jesus Manuel; Co-ordinator of the Executive Office, Ms Zhang Jie; Representative from Cape Verde, Mr Mário Vicente; Representative from Guinea-Bissau, Mr Malam Camará; Representative from Mozambique, Ms Francisca Reino; Ms Maria João Bonifácio, attending on behalf of the Representative of Portugal; Representative of Timor-Leste, Danilo Henriques; Advisors to the Executive Office, Mr Hu Huajun and Mr Zheng Jiansheng; and several staff from the Support Office.
