On the afternoon of the 9th of August, the mayor of Aracaju, Edvaldo Nogueira received a delegation of Chinese businessmen who came to the capital of Sergipe to learn about the potential of the city. During the meeting with the manager of Aracaju, the group informed about their interest in establishing themselves in the municipality with the establishment of companies in the oil and gas industry.

"This is an important visit that makes us very happy, as it reveals that the agreement of Sister Cities we signed with Yantai is already bearing good fruit. This group of businessmen learned about the cooperation agreement that was signed between Aracaju and the Chinese city and became interested in getting to know our city, our state to settle here. It is a delegation of businessmen from the petrochemical industry and who are interested in working in the area of oil and gas reprocessing, from the exploration that will come into existence with the Sergipe Águas Profundas project", said the mayor.

Present at the meeting, the Municipal Secretary of Finance, Jeferson Passos, emphasized that the visit opens great possibilities for Sergipe.
