Chinese Ambassador to São Tomé e Príncipe met with seminar participants in China

On December 27, 2024, the Chinese Ambassador to São Tomé and Príncipe, Xu Yingzhen, met at the Embassy with participants in the seminars on developing the digital economy and constructing industrial and supply chains in Portuguese-speaking countries. Both seminars were held in China.


The two seminars were held in Fuzhou in August 2024, and the participants were from various government departments of São Tomé and Príncipe, such as the Parliament, the Public Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Economy, the Customs and the Service of Migration.


The ambassador encouraged them to use what they learned in China in their jobs to achieve more results. The participants shared their experiences during their stay in China, expressing their gratitude for the opportunity offered and saying that the seminars allowed them to see China's development with their own eyes, which will contribute to promoting friendship between the two countries.
