On December 11, “Contemplating China - Hubei Media Week in South America” was officially launched in São Paulo. With the theme “Share, Exchange, Cooperate, Innovate”, the event brought together representatives from the culture, media, technology and trade sectors of both countries. The aim is to strengthen cultural exchange and promote mutual understanding between Brazil and China.
During the event, the Brazilian and Chinese institutions signed the cooperation agreements for the screening of Chinese audiovisual works on Brazilian television. The series “To the Wonder” and the documentary “Dragon Boat” will be broadcast by TVT in São Paulo. These productions will show Chinese cultural diversity and natural landscapes to Brazilian audiences, strengthening cultural exchange through the media.
In addition, the Wuhan Publishing Group has donated 128 books on Chinese culture to the Confucius Institute of Unesp, promoting the teaching of Mandarin and the dissemination of Chinese culture in Brazil.
