On December 12, the Chinese business group, Tiesiju Civil Enginering Group CO, LTD (CTCE), expressed its intention to invest in the province of Kwanza-Norte, Angola, in the agriculture, mining and infrastructure sectors. The intention was expressed by the group's managing director for Southern and Central Africa, Li XiaoGang, at the end of a meeting with the governor of Kwanza-Norte, João Diogo Gaspar, and members of the local government.
In Kwanza-Norte, the CTCE intends to invest in rice production, the construction of social housing, road infrastructure, water distribution systems, the mining of precious metals, staff training and the industrial sector.
At the moment, Li XiaoGang said, some actions are being taken between the local government and CTCE to create the conditions for establishing its structures in the province.
