After the first public appearance at the Interlagos Festival, Omoda & Jaecoo, the joint venture owned by the Chinese company, Chery, announced the opening of their headquarters in São Paulo.

The O&J recently confirmed an initial investment of R$200 million to structure operations. The focus at the moment is on trained professionals to deal with IT, sales, commercial, marketing and after-sales areas.

The brand has negotiated with the commercial partners to start selling the first cars in the country in the first quarter of 2025, with sales expected to start in March with 50 points of sale across Brazil.
