On September 23, Marinha Grande, Portugal, welcomed a Chinese delegation from Henan Province, with the aim of realizing the economic situation of the region, the main industries and the institutions of the scientific and technological system that support the industries.

The delegation and local authorities visited Gallo Vidro, one of the most representative companies in the packaging glass sector. Through explanations about the plant and the glass sector by the director and the technician, the Henan government officials were able to observe the technological advances and innovations implemented by the company.

The Mayor of Marinha Grande, Aurélio Ferreira, said that “we expect to establish partnerships with Henan Province of China, promoting joint growth, strengthening Marinha Grande on the international scene and creating opportunities for new projects and collaborations”.
