At around 10 am on August 16, the Chinese hospital ship "Peace Ark" completed its mission and visit to Mozambique and departed from Puto Port.

During the seven-day goodwill visit, the hospital ship provided medical services to more than 7,300 people and performed 74 surgeries. During this mission, 1,658 patients were treated on August 14, setting a new record for the most medical treatments in a single day.

In addition to receiving medical treatment on the main platform, the hospital ship sent several medical teams to local hospitals to carry out joint diagnosis and treatment, medical rounds and medical exchanges. Furthermore, mission staff representatives also visited Confucius Institutes and welfare homes and jointly organized cultural exchanges and sporting events with Mozambique.
