China and Angola sign memorandum of understanding to strengthen parasports cooperation

The Chinese National Paralympic Committee signed a memorandum of understanding with the Angolan Paralympic Committee on July 25 to increase parasports cooperation. The signing of the memorandum of understanding took place at the Parallel Session on Cooperation on People with Disabilities, Women and Children of the 7th China-Africa People's Forum.


The document highlights that the parties must encourage their para-athletes, coaches and officials to participate in sporting competitions, training and international conferences to be held in each other's countries.


According to the text, the parties must encourage exchange and cooperation between sports experts in the areas of competitive parasports, sports for all, science and sports medicine.


It mentions that the Chinese National Paralympic Committee will strive to provide the Angolan Paralympic Committee with material support within its capabilities within the scope of national aid.
