The Vila Velha Port Terminal (TVV) recorded the highest volume of container movement for the first quarter, totaling 56.3 thousand boxes, representing a growth of 63% compared to the same period in 2023.

According to Gustavo Paixão, director of TVV, the increase in the import of electric vehicles in flat rack containers, an unprecedented service in Brazil, is ideal for large loads and was carried out in partnership between TVV and Cosco, a Chinese company.

"In 2023 alone, we received 44,600 electric vehicles from China, in partnership with Cosco. Furthermore, he highlights that we were recognized as one of the Chinese company's featured suppliers in 2023, having achieved a 25% share in the volume of electric cars moved by the company".
