On May 21, a delegation of Chinese authorities and businesspeople from the Asian country participated in the II Bahia-China Forum in Salvador. The cooperation event for studies, projects and business was promoted by the State Government, through the Superintendency of Economic and Social Studies (SEI).
The head of the Tourism Secretariat (Setur-BA), Maurício Bacelar, highlighted the event's impact on tourism. “The forum also fits into the business tourism segment because it moves a production chain.”
“We celebrate half a century of friendly and commercial relations between Brazilians and Chinese, our biggest partners in international business, who are loving their visit to Bahia," added the general director of SEI, José Acácio Ferreira.
On May 22, the Chinese visited the Port of Aratu, in Candeias, and the Camaçari Industrial Complex.
