The National Diamond Company of Angola (Endiama) will work to internationalize business in the diamond subsector and boost the national industry, its president of the Board of Directors (PCA), José Ganga Júnior, announced on January 17th in Luanda.
According to the person responsible, this perspective results from the fact that, to date, there is no Endiama representative abroad, taking into account its size and corporate purpose.
He said the company intends to have antennas or production in regions such as Dubai, Hong Kong and other parts of mainland China to boost its industry.
The official also announced that the country will gain a new diamond-cutting factory in January, which should be opened in the Angolan province of Lunda Sul.
