Maxus, a Chinese vehicle manufacturer specialising in vans, has announced the arrival of its first two models in Brazil, with the aim of competing with large companies in the sector.
Unlike other Chinese manufacturers that target the passenger car segment, such as GWM, Seres and BYD, Maxus arrives in Brazil focussed exclusively on commercial vehicles, specifically vans.
The first sightings revealed two different models in Brazil: the Deliver 9 and the eDeliver 3. The Deliver 9, a large van, competes with models such as Mercedes-Benz's Sprinter, Fort's Transit, Citroën's Jumpy and Fiat's Ducato. The eDeliver 3, a smaller van, targets models such as the Fiat e-Scudo and Peugeot e-Expert.
