Trade, technology, exhibitions and conventions, and culture are the major opportunities for cooperation between Angola and Macao, according to the governor of Luanda province Higino Carneiro.

A statement released by Mr Carneiro, who is in Macao as the chairman of the General Assembly of the Union of Capital Cities of Portuguese Language, stressed the importance of Macao’s role as a commercial service platform between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries.

Mr Carneiro met Macao Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On yesterday. After the meeting, Mr Chui was quoted as saying the delegation’s hard work would lift existing multi-level cooperation between Macao and the Portuguese-speaking Countries to new levels.
