The Chinese carmaker JAC Motors has been turning its attention to the electric market for nearly two years. However, there are indications that the brand has not completely abandoned combustion models, so that the T9 Hunter pick-up truck with a turbodiesel engine is being tested in Brazil.

The JAC T9 Hunter was presented in China in April. The configuration featured a 2.0 turbodiesel engine with 170 hp of power and 410 Nm of torque. It should reach the Brazilian market with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and 4x4 traction.

In terms of dimensions, it will be 5,330 mm long, with a 3,110 mm wheelbase, 1,965 mm wide and 1,920 mm high. The load capacity will be 1,000 kg.

The pick-up should be presented in 2024. A hybrid and electric version will be announced at a later date.
