China, Portuguese-speaking Countries trade tops US$107.76 bln in Jan-Nov

Trade in merchandise between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries reached US$107.755 billion in the period from January to November 2017. It represented a 29.47 percent increase year-on-year, according to data from China Customs.


Portuguese-speaking Countries sold goods worth US$74.756 billion to China in the first 11 months of 2017 – a rise of 32.21 percent year-on-year. The value of China’s merchandise exports to those countries reached US$32.999 billion in the same period, up 23.66 percent year-on-year, according to Chinese official data.


The total value of merchandise traded in November between the parties topped US$9.756 billion, up 13.80 percent from the previous month.


The value of China’s merchandise imports from Portuguese-speaking Countries reached US$6.374 billion, an increase of 14.37 percent month-to-month. China sold goods to those countries worth US$3.382 billion in November, up 12.73 percent compared with the previous month.
