The Rio de Janeiro Section of the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF Rio) has signed a Memorandum of Mutual Collaboration, with the Brazil-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIBC), to facilitate the going of Brazilian franchising companies to expand business in China, as well as the coming and staying of Chinese franchisers in Brazil.
The purpose of the union of the two entities is to provide logistical and advisory support to companies associated with ABF Rio that wish to seek Chinese markets, including assistance in organizing delegations and visits.
For the legal director of ABF Rio, Hannah Fernandes, the memorandum will help break down some barriers to foster the franchise market in both countries, increasing the visibility of the Brazilian market abroad.
