Over 50 countries have already expressed interest in taking part in this initiative.

Macao’s Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On said in a statement that the city will “actively participate” in the “One Belt, One Road”.

Mr Chui added that Macao would make use of its role as a service platform between China and Portuguese speaking-Countries to promote the successful implementation of the initiative.
