The Brazil-China Melon Workshop will take place on March 18, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Sebrae-RN auditorium in Mossoró, with the theme “Exploring the Chinese Market for Brazilian Melons”. The event is aimed at melon producers, exporters, foreign trade consultants and all those involved in the fruit production chain.

“With the growing demand for quality tropical fruit, China is a strategic market for the export of our melons. This meeting aims to provide valuable information on consumption trends, regulatory requirements and best logistical practices to ensure successful trade negotiations with the Asian giant,” says the president of the Rio Grande do Norte Fruit Growing Executive Committee (Coex-RN) and organizer of Expofruit - International Irrigated Tropical Fruit Growing Fair, Fábio Queiroga.

Several authorities and guests will be present at the workshop. They will debate issues such as phytosanitary requirements, the market and culture for business in China, as well as discussing strategic routes for fruit exports.
