Five of the ten largest e-commerce platforms in Brazil are Asian, and four of them are Chinese. Shopee, Temu, Shein and AliExpress, along with South Korea's Samsung, together recorded 639 million accesses in January 2025, according to Conversion's “E-commerce Sectors in Brazil” report. The imported market grew by 68% compared to the same month in 2024.

In a recent survey carried out by the British institute Rho Motion, Brazil emerged as the country with the largest presence of Chinese electric cars and plug-in hybrids. In February, it was found that 82% of these vehicles sold in the country are manufactured by Chinese brands.
