A delegation organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macao) will visit Nanchang, in Jiangxi Province, this month to participate in the ‘Dynamic Macao Week’. Also attending the event will be the participants in the ‘Workshop on Environmental Policy for Portuguese-speaking Countries’ and members of a delegation of Macao.

The Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao will set up a Portuguese-speaking Countries Pavilion at the ‘Dynamic Macao Week’. It will also organise a ‘Conference on Business Co-operation between Jiangxi, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries’.

These events promoted by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao aim to support the promotional activities of the Macao SAR Government; publicise more fully the work being done by Forum Macao; highlight the role of Macao as a service platform; explain the investment environment and business opportunities of Portuguese-speaking Countries; and promote economic and trade regional co-operation.

The Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao will set up a Portuguese-speaking Countries Pavilion at the Nanchang International Exhibition Centre during the ‘Dynamic Macao Week’.

The Pavilion aims to explain the society and economy of, respectively, seven Portuguese-Speaking Countries – Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal and East Timor. The Pavilion will showcase traditional products from each country, with additional explanatory photographs and texts.

The ‘Conference on Business Co-operation between Jiangxi, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries’ will be held at 2.30pm, September 18, at Ballroom 3, 3rd floor, in the Wanda Realm Hotel.
