On December 4, a Chinese delegation visit Brazil to learn about the rice processing process applied at the Brazilian company São João Alimentos, in Santa Cruz do Rio Pardo in São Paulo. The visit is being promoted by Brazilian Rice - a project of the Brazilian Rice Industry Association (Abiarroz) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), with the aim of reaching a phytosanitary agreement to export the cereal.
The Chinese delegation will bring 13 experts in the field of processing rice with quality to Brazil, including executives from the China National Association of Grain Sector and the China Grain Trade Association.
Beatriz Sartori, the Abiarroz's Export Manager, said that this visit will be crucial to show Brazilian processing rice and its industrial process, highlighting the Brazil's commitment to the highest quality standards and the international requirements.
