The Cape Verde's Environment and Sustainable Development Association (Terrimar), based in Porto Novo, Santo Antão, is one of the participants in the seminar on the Development of the Blue Economy, which is held in the city of Fuzhou, China, until November 14.
The environmental association was represented by its executive director, Silvana Roque, who said she was enthusiastic about the opportunities the seminar brings to boost innovative and sustainable practices in Cape Verde's maritime and coastal sector. According to this biologist, this event is an excellent opportunity to learn and exchange experiences in building a sustainable blue economy.
The seminar is promoted by the Center for International Economic Cooperation of Fujian Province and will be attended by experts, professionals and leaders in the field, united by the goal of strengthening the blue economy as an engine for sustainable development and innovation.
