Solar energy in Brazil accounts for 13.1% of the entire electricity matrix and is the second largest source used in the country, second only to hydroelectric power. In recent years, the number of photovoltaic systems installed has grown considerably, especially in the South and Southeast.
This ever-growing market is constantly being updated with the use of new technologies. In order to find out what's new in the area, the CEO of Fotus Distribuidora Solar, one of the largest companies in the sector in Brazil, José João Cunha Filho, along with other company officials, went to China to take part in one of the world's largest events in the photovoltaic and renewable energy sector.
Their first stop was Shanghai, where they took part in the SNEC PV Power Expo, from June 13 to 15. SNEC is one of the most important international photovoltaic energy fairs, attracting global industry leaders to present technological advances, innovative solutions and trends in the sector.
The aim is to strengthen relations with suppliers, learn about the latest innovations in the market and explore new brands and products that could be introduced in Brazil. This initiative aims to strengthen the Brazilian renewable energy market, bringing innovation and new business opportunities to Espírito Santo.
