On May 13, a significant economic and commercial cooperation meeting was successfully held between the Luohu District of Shenzhen, China, in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, further strengthening commercial and cultural ties between the two countries.
The Chinese delegation was led by Luohu District Committee Secretary Fan Defan, including important figures such as Du Xiaojun, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, and Chen Xiaojun, Secretary of Commerce of Luohu. On the Brazilian side, Maurici, President of the International Relations Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo, and João Marcos, Director of the Investment Attraction Department of the Minas Gerais Secretariat are present.
Fan Defan emphasized the complementarity and potential for cooperation between China and Brazil in the areas of gold jewelry and international trade.
The highlight of the event was the signing of memorandums of understanding between the Luohu District Commerce Secretary and several Brazilian gold and gem companies, laying a solid foundation for future collaborations.
