A delegation of 21 Chinese, including authorities, entrepreneurs and translators, was received by Governor Ronaldo Caiado on May 8th in Goiânia. The delegation, which includes representatives of 11 companies from the Asian country, is looking for investment opportunities in Goiás, mainly in the agricultural sector.
The three-day program in the state included visits to agricultural companies Beauvallet Goiás Alimentos and Grupo Canassa, both located in the city of Inhumas.
The group is led by vice-governor Shi Qingshuang, who is responsible for the agricultural sector in Hebei province. The delegation includes businesspeople from the fruit, chicken, livestock, dairy, agricultural chemicals and food import sectors, as well as medical supplies.
"This year marks 30 years since Hebei became Goiás' sister province. This visit has a single objective, which is to strengthen our friendship and build new partnerships in the future," said Shi Qingshuang.
