Angola Telecom and Chinese technology company Huawei formalized a strategic partnership on February 28 through the signing of two memorandums of understanding, marking the beginning of a significant collaboration between the companies to promote technological advances in the telecommunications sector and accelerate digital development in Angola.
In a statement, Angola Telecom states that this partnership, signed during the World Mobile Communications Congress in Barcelona, reflects a mutual commitment to strengthening telecommunications infrastructure, promoting the development of local talent and fostering collaborative innovation.
For the president of Huawei's Operator Business for Southern Africa, Samuel Chen, this partnership constitutes an important step for both companies. He says he is looking forward to contributing to the development of telecommunications in Angola.
