Minister Luciana Santos, from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Brazil, received on September 25th, in Brasília, representatives from Kuaishou Negócios Internacionais, the company responsible for applying KWAI short videos, and the XieXie–Brazil China institute. The entities' objective was to present training and income generation projects using the application.

“The meeting aimed to talk about how KWAI can help the ministry and the country develop in the technological area, mainly through the short video platform, how to prepare young people in Brazil, how to help combat poverty through technology, and live sales on platforms. The idea is to combat poverty through digital platforms,” she said.

“The government’s intention is to deepen technological development and friendship ties. We want to explore what is possible to do in common,” she said.
