The Angola-China Joint Commission for Economic and Trade Cooperation will meet in Luanda tomorrow to conclude an agreement on ways to increase Sino-Angolan economic engagement, Lusa reports, citing a written announcement issued by the Angolan Ministry of Foreign Relations.

The Portuguese news agency says the meeting will assess the current extent of Sino-Angolan economic engagement, and how to put into effect an agreement to cooperate in the field of human resources.

The meeting will urge Angolan and Chinese farmers and manufacturers to do more business together, and will spur official cooperation at the municipal, provincial and national levels, the report says.

Angolan Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Angolan Communities Domingos Vieira Lopes and Chinese Vice-minister of Commerce Qian Keming will jointly chair the meeting, Lusa says.
