Trade between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries topped US$16.397 billion in the first month of 2022, an increase of 19.31 percent from a year earlier, according to data from Global Trade Flow. In January, the value of China’s imports from Portuguese-speaking Countries reached US$9.749 billion, rise by 10.04 percent year-on-year. China sold goods worth US$6.648 billion to Portuguese-speaking Countries, an increase of 36.13 percent from the prior-year period.
