The Confucius Institute at the University of Aveiro plans to host an international seminar on Sino-Portuguese cultural relations, Portuguese radio station Terra Nova reports.
Portugal-China Intercultural Dialogues opens tomorrow and continues until Friday. The event will reflect the multidisciplinary and multicultural dialogue illustrating the liveliness of relations between Portugal and Mainland China, Confucius Institute director Carlos Morais was quoted as saying.
The programmes include roundtables, workshops on Chinese painting and calligraphy, music and theatre, along with parallel activities that include five exhibitions.
About 60 people are expected to take part in the event, the report says.
